- This learning session described challenges and successes in implementing a shared decision making program in primary care practices via electronic prescription of patient decision aids.
Afternoon Plenary Session: 1:55 - 2:45 p.m.
The Value of CG-CAHPS Patient Experience Surveys: Best Practices and implementation
Presenter: Gregg Loughman, Director of Program Development, NCR Picker
- Participants in this learning session were apprised of new directions and expectations for Center of Medicare Services (CMS) regarding patient experience of care surveys; identified two best practices related to patient experience of care surveying that could be used in the practice setting; and learned of the benefits to their practice when incorporating the information from patient experience of care surveys.
